And, so this first deal, with Private Money, what do you anticipate in approximately your profit?

If we sell it, again, full asking right now, which we think we might get over I will walk away with $98,000.

So, Chris, we wanna hear your story. Tell us about your 1st private lender How do you how you, how it came about, how it became about to be a private lender, and all that good stuff?


Chris Cornett [00:01:17]:

Yeah. So my first private lender was family, my stepfather, and another family member I presented the program to them. They were very interested, you know, just like, yeah, we’ve been discussing here in the program, and everybody is aware, you know, they’re not getting what they want, on their money as far as returns, and definitely not interested in the stock market. And and so they were very interested in what I had to offer, you know, collateralized by real estate. So, the first deal was when I was able to find a property that made sense using, you know, my formulas and, was able to close on it in less than 2 weeks completely with Private Money and then, you know, bringing a check home to have all the money I needed for renovations as well. And if that property went on the market last week, and is, we’ve had 14 showings and are expecting an offer here soon. I’m expecting Gavin on for here soon. 


Jay Conner [00:02:22]:

Wow. So this family member how did you start a conversation with this family member about this opportunity that you had for him?


Chris Cornett [00:02:35]:

Well, my family and friends all know I’ve been investing in real estate since 2019


Chris Cornett [00:02:41]:

More on the traditional route of going to 20% long-term rentals, you know,  it was my game. and, you know, when I realized that that was a scalable or sustainable solution for me to be able to exit the corporate world in a timely manner I joined your program, Jesse, and got familiar with the structure and how it all works. And I immediately started talking to everybody. I know. I’ve been Yeah. Crystal’s done a great job in helping me re-orient. I’m gonna introduce myself, which I think is key because people say, what do you do? I would say I want the VP of service at this X Y Z Corporation. I don’t say that anymore. I never say that anymore because that’s not my identity. It might be that I have to spend more hours than I care to do still, but, I introduced myself as somebody who can help them make high rates of return on their investment capital and It’s just opened up so many doors, so many conversations. I’ve got another presentation tomorrow night with a prospective lender and his wife. I’m not near Crystal, but I am up to 350,005 at money and then on the market, you know, I can operate.


Jay Conner [00:03:53]:

Nope. None.

That’s awesome. And, so this first deal, funded with Private Money, what do you anticipate in approximately your profit?

If we sell it, I get full asking right now, which we think we might get over I will walk away with 98,000.

So, Chris, what advice would you give to a new real estate investor looking to raise Private Money? What lesson have you learned or lessons have you learned from, attracting Private Money that you would now do a little differently than when you first started out?


Chris Cornett [00:05:28]:

Well, honestly, Jay, I was a rookie to Private Money prior to your program. I really didn’t know anything about it. I did realize that there was it was quite honestly so easy. but, and I say that you know, relatively, you know, once you get rolling, it is actually quite easy and something that is an attractive product to a lot of people, not everybody, but a lot of people are interested in and what you have to offer, but I would say that I think this is something that anybody can do. and you know, you could certainly get there. I think that it would take you years to get where you could get in less than a year if you don’t join a good programmer or have a good mentor and coach. so, you know, between Crystal and and your program, Jay, and and everything at that’s made the difference for me, because I’m very good at at being able to do, dive in and, you know, I’m taking this very seriously course. I’m putting the work and the time in. And, if you do that, I mean, you can get this thing on autopilot pretty quick and I’ve already done my second deal now. I’m less than 6 months in. I’ve got my first deal renovated and listed. with my renter, and I got my second deal already purchased in renovation starting next week. So it’s very doable.
